One of the most rewarding parts of owning your own Bridal Boutique is when your inbox flashes up with a lovely email enclosing treasured moments from one of your bride’s special days!
In October of last year, one of our much-loved Hannah Elizabeth brides – Emily tied the knot with her handsome hubby James and we have just received some of the most gorgeous images from their special day.
We welcomed Emily to the boutique at the beginning of 2016 when she came along to one of our exclusive Hayley Paige ‘Blush’ trunk show events. Browsing through the rails of dreamy Hayley Paige gowns which had been sent especially for the occasion, there was lots of swooning as Emily tried on many of the beautiful designs! We were thrilled when Emily decided to try on a gorgeous lace and tulle two piece called Sunny; as she stepped out of the dressing room with a huge smile on her face, we all knew she had found the one!
The stunning Sunny’ gown by Hayley Paige ‘Blush’ is a contemporary twist on a classical design, a two piece combination of a tulle ballgown skirt and a dainty lace scallop crop top, which we chose to frame with a flowing romantic lace edged veil.
The happy couple tied the knot on a perfect autumnal day at the stunning Southend Barns, located in the picturesque south coast village of Chichester. We are so in love with the romantic autumnal styling of Emily and James’ magical day. A colour palette of rose gold and copper tones added warmth to the feel of the day. This theme started with the bridesmaids’ gorgeous sequined skirts and finished with tiny palm size rose gold pumpkins. Every last detail was considered, and Emily’s style flowed throughout giving a truly graceful demeanour to the feel of their wedding.
Bringing in autumnal elements for the month of October the couple decided that they wanted to incorporate pumpkins, but not the standard kind. Emily says “we didn’t want standard orange, then when we looked into it we discovered a number of lovely colours you could get; they also made it feel really romantic, going with the season just something a little different”. The couple spent time collecting organically grown pumpkins of all sizes in delicate shades of pale sage, soft grey, cream and added a personal touch of hand painted rose gold and copper glitter pumpkins which warmed the palette beautifully.
Before flying off on their honeymoon we were more than delighted when Emily popped over to the boutique with a warm hug and baskets of gorgeous pumpkins of all shapes and sizes to dress our No 5 boutique window, with a little extra magic! And this is exactly what we did! We loved every second of creating our Autumn Window and with thanks to Emily and James the boutique felt like a scene out of Cinderella with dainty little pumpkins and Rachel Simpson shoes galore.
